What could be better than having research contacts that make us visit such a charming and iconic place as Florence? Those are precious opportunities.

Wagner and I visited a group in Italy to discuss propositions of research and technological development. The projects are still confidential, but as soon as possible, I will be very happy to share with you the news about the project in which we are embarking.

But since you were there, well… it was inevitable to enjoy the summer in Tuscany. Beautiful, it was crowded with tourists and it made a scorching heat, despite being the beginning of summer in Europe.

The region reminded me, in many ways, the Alentejo where the IAC Campus is, in Portugal. The Mediterranean cuisine of high quality, the bucolic atmosphere, and the odd vegetation, still untouched by the large urban ventures were remarkable points.
